Project Quantity Surveyor – Commercial – Galway We are currently partnering with a Tier 1 Main Contractor with bases across Ireland who have seen success across a number of projects. Due to continued success, there is currently now the need for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join the team on a Commercial build. Responsibilities Cost Management: Monitor and control project costs from procurement through to final account, ensuring alignment with budget and programme targets. Requirements Must have relevant degree level Quantity Surveying qualification or similar Benefits €70,000 - €80,000 + Package
Procurement & Contracts: Prepare tender packages, manage subcontractor procurement, and administer contracts in line with company and client requirements.
Valuations & Reporting: Prepare monthly valuations, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts to support project and commercial management teams.
Change Management: Assess, value, and agree variations and change orders promptly, ensuring risks and opportunities are identified and managed.
Collaboration & Support: Work closely with site teams, design consultants, and client representatives, while providing commercial guidance to junior QS staff.
Must have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role working for a main contractor
Must have excellent communication skills (Oral & Written)
Must be based within a commutable distance of Galway
